Danielle De Voe, LMFT, ATR

Art/Grief THERAPIST

Hello, my name is Danielle De Voe and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Art Therapist (ATR). I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Phillips Graduate University with an MA in Psychology and a specialty in Art Therapy. I utilize art therapy as a way for clients to use their voice without words, tap into the unconscious, heal from inside out, and use what we learn together to help you grow and heal.

Through my training working with both children and adults I have gained insight around different approaches needed to meet the individual client. I have gained comprehensive experience with effective crisis prevention, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mapping and adapting practice, structural family therapy, and art therapy interventions.

My approach to counseling is dedicated to listening carefully and offering insight with compassion, empathy, and care. I offer a trusting and supportive space without judgment. I work collaboratively to help understand and heal emotional experiences, develop nurturing relationships, and move towards fulfilling the client’s personal goals.

I help navigate ways to be expressive through art and explore barriers that interfere with growth and achieving life goals. I address personal life challenges and integrate complementary methodologies to offer a personalized approach. I meet you where you are at, help normalize your feelings and emotions, and build upon your strengths.

I believe change is possible at any time. Utilizing both psychotherapy and art helps provides an opportunity to realize one’s potential. Through the use of art I draw upon the clients strengths, unlock the unconscious, and use the creative process as an additional healing tool alongside talk therapy.
